Chris is the founder and owner of DentalPlus and is proud to lead such a dedicated professional team. After graduating from Otago University in 1986 Chris worked internationally before settling in Mt Maunganui in 1992, first with Bayfair Dental and now DentalPlus.

Chris is passionate about dentistry and has a wealth of postgraduate training and experience in cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation and implants. He is a member of both the NZ Dental Association and the NZ Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and writes regular articles on new dental technology for the NZDA News.

Chris’ wife Brenda and their three young children are his focus when not at work and he also enjoys a variety of sports including golf, squash, fishing and mountain biking.

Lloyd trained at the University of Otago and graduated in 2001. Since that time he has worked at Dunedin Hospital, in Far North Queensland and in Newcastle and London in the United Kingdom. For the last four and a half years he has been in private practice in Wellington. Lloyd is passionate about quality dentistry and has a wide range of interests, from wisdom tooth surgery to implants and full mouth rehabilitation. Lloyd is also a member of the New Zealand Dental Association.

Outside of work Lloyd is married to Rachel who is also a dentist and they have a young son, Max, keeping them busy. Lloyd is a competitive soccer player and enjoys a wide range of other sports including golf, mountain biking and fishing.

Frances obtained her diploma in 1998 from Otago Polytechnic. She finds her work as a Hygienist incredibly rewarding, seeing her patients gain in confidence and self-esteem from having a healthy smile and fresh breath. Frances has two children to keep her busy away from work and actively supports several local sporting groups.

Janine also trained at Otago University and gained her diploma in 2001. She loves working alongside patients and helping them to achieve optimum oral health; something that makes a real difference to people’s lives. Outside of work Janine shares a busy family life with her husband and two daughters, but somehow still finds time to pursue her sporting interests, particularly triathlon and multisport.

DentalPlus is fortunate to have a talented, dedicated and experienced team working alongside our professional staff. Their goal is to deliver the best customer care possible, and they make the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of DentalPlus what it is.
